 2001 and Up have connectors that are left and right specific and may require removal of locating tabs. The left hand side should not require modification.
When you switch to long tube headers the sensors are always too far away from the stock harness location. These simple plug and play extensions solve the problem finally in a matter of minutes.
Time Required:
Approximately 1/2 hour.
Tools Required:
Scissors, file or small rotary grinder.
Basic hand tools.
Installation Steps:
1. Disconnect Battery
2. Raise Vehicle. (Be sure to secure with jack stands)
3. Unplug secondary 02 sensors. (Closest to rear of car)
4. Pry plugs from bracket.
5. It may be necessary to grind or cut alignment tabs from passenger side 02-sensor connector.
6. Plug in extensions making sure they are fully engaged, then tie wrap away from exhaust.
7. Reconnect Battery.
